Recently, I visited a Johnny Rockets branch in an NJ outlet, drawn by the allure of classic American fast food and the retro decor. The experience, however, was less than stellar. The wait to be seated was excruciatingly long, even though the place wasn't packed. Once inside, the chaos didn't end. Service was slow, and it seemed like the staff was overwhelmed. Several customers, including myself, noticed a lack of attention from the servers, with some even leaving due to the prolonged wait.

The food, when it finally arrived, was a mixed bag. The Rocket single burger, known for its fresh ingredients, lived up to its reputation, and the fries were flavorful. However, I also witnessed some burgers being served burnt, which was disappointing. The overall management and staff training clearly need improvement. It was evident that not all staff members were contributing equally, which affected the dining experience.

Despite the fresh taste of some menu items, the service issues significantly dampened the overall experience. It's a place with great potential if only they could match their food quality with equally good customer service. If you're planning a visit, be prepared for a possible wait and a hit-or-miss dining experience.

I went to the one in Hoboken. Not too long after not going for close to a year, And the difference was like night and day. The service was excruciatingly slow. They had completely done away with the whole spontaneous dance thing, which was part of their trademark. Not even the little ketchup smile thing. The jukeboxes were disabled. The food was still relatively tasty, but the place had lost all its charm.
