Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Faubourg Montclair Restaurant and Bar, a gem with a stellar reputation nestled in the heart of Montclair. The ambiance is versatile, offering everything from a park-like outdoor setting to a chic indoor dining hall and a cozy upstairs space, perfect for any occasion. The food here is a true delight; the orecchiette & lamb ragout was a standout dish for me, bursting with flavor. While the duck & fig terrine and lychee mimosa didn’t quite hit the mark, the overall culinary experience was impressive. The service was top-notch, with attentive and professional staff making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The chickpea paninis and crab salad came highly recommended and did not disappoint, and you absolutely must try the apple dessert – it’s a real treat! After your meal, a stroll around Montclair makes for the perfect end to a delightful outing. Whether you’re looking for a relaxed lunch in the garden or a sophisticated dinner, Faubourg Montclair is a must-visit.
