Exploring the Authentic Taste of Korea at BAPDODUK in Palisades Park

If you're a fan of authentic Korean cuisine, BAPDODUK is a must-visit! This family-style restaurant has become my go-to spot, especially for their sauce crab, which is a bit salty but pairs perfectly with white rice. I've been here twice, initially drawn by its fame and then again because I simply couldn't shake my craving for that delicious crab. The beef soup and pork bone soup are also standout dishes that warm you right up. Although the seafood pancake could be a bit thicker, it's still worth a try.

The spicy stir-fried beef offal was average, but the other dishes more than make up for it. Fellow diners seem to agree, praising dishes like the galchi jorim and Daegu maeuntang for their perfect cooking and flavorful banchan. The raw marinated crab is another highlight, offering a unique experience for those willing to get their hands a little dirty. It's different from what you might find in South Korea, as the shells here are harder, but it's a tasty adventure for the brave.
