Mostly sunny with highs near 63 today for New Jersey

Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Mike Rizzo says this week's weather is much improved from yesterday's strong and dangerous wind.

The sun is still shining today with a lighter breeze, near 25 mph at times. The high temperatures will push to 65. It's beautiful!

Tomorrow will be fantastic, too! Highs near 69 under a sunny sky with passing afternoon clouds.

Thursday is great, too - my pick of the week - with highs near 72 with sun and late clouds.

Friday will be cloudy with periods of on and off rain showers through the afternoon and evening. The weather turns cooler for the weekend, but it will be improving gradually on Saturday.

Sunday is the better day, partly sunny and fair. Next week's temperatures will be in the mid-50s with a mix of sun and clouds.
