Recently, she announced that she will soon be a grandmother of seven. Nist was one of the 22 older bachelorettes vying for the heart of The Golden Bachelor. She had been married to her late husband, William Nist, for 42 years until his passing in 2014. Gerry, a 72-year-old retired restaurateur, was also a widower.
