Celebrating Atiya Johnson, Founder Of First Black-Woman Owned Beauty Academy In South Jersey

Jana’s Cosmetology Academy, distinguished as the inaugural Black-owned cosmetology school in New Jersey, has been selected to receive vital funding from Beyoncé’s BeyGOOD Foundation.

This philanthropic support will bolster aspiring cosmetology students and professional hair stylists in the beauty industry.

BeyGOOD recently launched the Cécred x BeyGOOD Fund, allocating $500,000 annually to provide scholarships and salon business grants across vibrant hair stylist communities in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, and now, New Jersey.
