Kathy Wakile’s Shady Response to Questions About Melissa Gorga

Kathy Wakile is still not besties with Melissa Gorga . This week, the Real Housewives of New Jersey alum appeared on Watch What Happens Live . Naturally, Andy Cohen had a few questions prepared, but when the topic shifted to Melissa, Kathy’s shade-ohmmeter was ready. Luckily for us all, Jennifer Aydin was also present, and her questions equally saw Kathy reaching for her umbrella, blocking out the light, allowing for zero sunshiney responses in turn.

To backtrack just a bit, the Gorgas and the Wakiles have been estranged since RHONJ Season 7. Here, Teresa Giudice chose to cut her cousin out of her life. Joe Gorga backed his sister. Kathy then left the franchise.

It’s been years since we’ve seen Kathy. And then, just like that, she’s on WWHL.

“Ya’ll are building a house by Melissa’s new house, right?” Andy asked. “Yeah, Melissa Way. Apparently, she owns the street,” Kathy quipped, laughing while annoyed. “I had my eye on that house forever,” she added, showing that the Gorgas had nothing to do with this purchase.

Jennifer then asked Kathy “She said she wants to get back together. What do you think about that?” Dryly, Kathy answered that this was “very convenient.” Jennifer agreed.

As for Melissa, she does indeed want to get back together with Kathy and Rich Wakile. On SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, Melissa spoke about her new neighbor , saying “It’s funny. Everyone moves to my street.” But she seriously does hope that “Joe and Kathy are walking down the street one day and bump into each other,” because overall, Kathy is a “good” person.

In February, the Wakiles purchased 267 Indian Trail Dr in Franklin Lakes for $2.6M. Just a few doors down, in April 2021, the Gorgas purchased 300 Indian Trail Dr for $950k. The Gorgas then knocked down their purchased home and built their dream pad, finally moving into their new home in 2022. Soon, Kathy and her shade will join them, making Indian Trail Dr the place to be (or not) in Franklin Lakes, NJ.
