Everyone’s been buzzing about the revival of the Twisters franchise, which was just released in theaters yesterday, July 19. The sequel to the famed 1996 film is going to be one of the biggest films of the summer.

The cast has been promoting and celebrating its release over the last few weeks. The musicians behind the soundtrack have been hard at work as well. Luke Combs, Tyler Childers, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Miranda Lambert, and more have contributed to the star-stubbed soundtrack for Twisters.

Luke Combs, specifically, contributed to the track “Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma” to the highly-anticipated album. And he’s been having a bit of fun with the cast of Twisters outside of filming, notably at one of his recent performances in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Last night, Combs brought out some of the cast of Twisters to celebrate the release of the movie as well as the soundtrack. The surprise visit wasn’t previously announced, and you can hear the crowd roar once the stars take the stage.

Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Anthony Ramos, and Kiernan Shipka surprised the audience by coming on stage while Combs performed a rendition of his song “1, 2, Many”. In an even more surprising turn of events, each of the cast members shotgunned a beer each on stage during the song. Powell, ever the gentleman, finished off Edgar-Jones’ beer when she couldn’t quite finish the shotgunning part. When you think about it, this is some pretty incredible marketing.

You can watch the hilarious moment below:

Luke Combs is currently in the middle of his Growin’ Up And Gettin’ Old Tour, which is slated to end in August. Combs is also going to be performing at the Grand Pole Opry with Bill Anderson on August 13. He’ll also be performing a two-night set at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington. Combs most recent album, Fathers & Sons, was just released on June 14.

Twisters is currently showing at select theaters across the US.
