While Megan Moroney has been opening for Kenny Chesney on his Sun Goes Down Tour this year, he’s gotten in the habit of bringing her on stage to duet on some of his hits. At a recent show in Los Angeles, Moroney joined Chesney for a rendition of his 1999 hit “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy.”

Additionally, they previously performed the duet at a show in Seattle, according to the fan-captured video below. The crowd is loving the energy and fun that Moroney brings to the show. While a Kenny Chesney concert is most likely already exciting, Moroney brings a new, youthful perspective to some of Chesney’s older hits.

The Sun Goes Down Tour continues for a few more shows before concluding in Foxborough, Massachusetts with a run of three shows on August 23, 24, and 25. Now though, Kenny and Megan are headed to Phoenix and Denver to close out July. On August 3 the tour will go to Nashville, then head to cities in Ohio, Michigan, Maine, and New Jersey.

Megan Moroney Previously Performed “You and Tequila” With Kenny Chesney on Tour

While on a tour stop in Chicago, Megan Moroney joined Kenny Chesney on stage for a duet of “You and Tequila.” Moroney sang the verses originally recorded by Grace Potter, putting her own spin and charisma on the vocals. The crowd was enamored with her performance, as they have been all throughout the tour.

Prior to a show in Atlanta in May, Moroney shared advice for anyone looking to chase their dreams, and how touring with Kenny Chesney is the fulfillment of one of hers. Speaking with 94.9 The Bull, she explained that in 2018 she attended his headlining show in Atlanta.

“Old Dominion and Thomas Rhett was opening for him, and I was the drunk girl in the nosebleeds,” she joked. However, she has now worked with Old Dominion and Kenny Chesney. Thomas Rhett, you’re next. Moroney then added, “if you’re gonna be the drunk girl in the nosebleeds tonight, don’t give up.”
