Ramona Singer is being trolled by fans for dissing the state of New Jersey in her latest Instagram post.
“Have you ever gone out of your element? Well guess where I am now ? Not Hamptons not Aspen not St Barts not nyc not Capri ….I am in NJ 😂,” the “Real Housewives of New York City” alum wrote alongside a since-deleted selfie on Friday night.
“having the best time ! It’s not the place but the people you are with 💕.”
Singer, 67, also expressed her disbelief over spending time in the Garden State via her Instagram Story.
“No one could believe in a million years … it’s 11 o’clock on a Friday night and guess where I am. New Jersey!” she laughed. “Who knew? Who knew?”
While New Jersey is often ridiculed as “the armpit of America,” many of its inhabitants are fiercely loyal to the state — which offers everything from beaches to farms — including its “Housewives.”
“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Melissa Gorga commented under the post , “Ummm I think NJ is fantastic.”
Her co-star Margaret Josephs made light of the situation , however, joking, “Did you get all your shots before entering? 🤪.”
Several fans were more upset over Singer’s remarks, with one user chiming in , “How pretentious 🙄.”
“Best part – she doesn’t even realize how rude this is,” added another .
A third fan quipped , “NJ is…a minute outside Manhattan Ramona. You’re not in Siberia.”
“Unaware of her rudeness, as always. Not only insulting but bragging about her wealth to the masses, who are mostly regular folks,” another unamused user noted .
Singer did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment on the backlash.
The Bravolebrity was born and raised in New York, making it even more shocking that she has never hung out in New Jersey.
It’s no surprise, however, that her comments landed her in hot water.
Singer joined “RHONY” during its premiere season in 2008 and filmed for thirteen seasons before a racial slur controversy got her axed from the show in late 2023.
Prior to confirming her exit , a Vanity Fair exposé claimed the realtor was racially hostile and used the N-word while speaking to a black crew member during production for Season 13.
