Two additional victims identified in Donald Trump rally shooting

The Pennsylvania State Police have disclosed the identities of two more victims from the assassination attempt at a Donald Trump rally, as the probe into the fatal shooting carries on.

In an update posted by Yamiche Alcindor on X, formerly Twitter, the NBC correspondent confirmed the two victims who were rushed to hospital in critical condition following the rally shooting.

One victim has been identified as 57-year-old David Dutch, of New Kensington, Pennsylvania , who is currently listed in stable condition.

The second was identified as 74-year-old James Copenhaver, of Moon Township, Pennsylvania and he is also listed in stable condition.

In a statement, Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Colonel Christopher Paris said: "These victims and their families are certainly in our thoughts today. The Pennsylvania State Police continue to work tirelessly alongside our federal, state and local partners as this investigation continues."

Corey Comperatore, 50, was killed after the gunfire erupted. He and the man who was accused of firing the bullet that hit Trump, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, were the only two fatalities from the day.
