Dew points in the mid 70s, highs in the 90s, heat index values near 100 degrees will be a common occurrence out the door for the week. For tonight, look for increasing cloud cover, along with shower and thunderstorm activity through the overnight hours. Most of this activity will reside in our northern counties, with threats including frequent lightning, and an isolated chance for gusty winds and localized hail.
