    Motorcyclist, 62, dies after crashing into ditch along North Shore

    A 62-year old motorcyclist died on Sunday after crashing into a ditch and hitting a road sign near Caribou Falls.

    According to Minnesota State Patrol, the accident was reported at 11:12 a.m. when Douglas Studanski from New London, Minnesota was driving his Honda motorcycle south on the Voyageur Highway 61 along Minnesota's North Shore.

    While driving, the motorcycle left the road and entered a southbound ditch, before striking a road sign and bush.

    Alcohol was not a factor in the crash and Studanski was wearing a helmet.
