Two killed in head-on collision early Sunday in New Madrid County
KEWANEE, Mo. — A Malden, Missouri, woman and a Sikeston, Missouri, man were killed in a head-on collision early Sunday, June 30 in New Madrid County. According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 12:45 a.m. on Highway 61, two miles north of Kewanee, as the northbound vehicle driven by 32-year-old Jasymine R. Clark of Malden crossed the center of the road and struck the southbound vehicle driven by Michael J. Coaker, 43, of Sikeston head-on.

NEW MADRID, Mo. - The New Madrid County Sheriff’s Department has released photos of a drowning victim’s tattoos in hopes of identifying the man. According to interim Sheriff Ronnie Adams, an autopsy was conducted Friday, June 28, on the body which was found floating in the Mississippi River near Marsh Landing, approximately eight miles east of Portageville, Missouri, on Wednesday, June 26.
