Morgantown City Council proposed camping ban faces opposition from councilors, Mountain State Justice
MORGANTOWN W.Va – Several parties have voiced opposition to the proposal of an expanded camping ban downtown by a Morgantown City Councilor. The proposed ban is an addition to Sec. 941.05(c) of the Morgantown City Code, which prohibits camping in the park without the consent of the city manager. Third Ward Councilor Louise Michael suggested expanding the ban to residential properties, city streets, alleyways and sidewalks at a council meeting on July 2.

Odd Fellows Home of Elkins finds new owner
ELKINS, W.Va (WDTV) - The Odd Fellows Home of Elkins is under new ownership. The keys are changing hands, but one thing that can’t be changed is the history of a home that once housed hundreds of orphans, widows, and elderly ‘Odd Fellow’ members for over a century of operation. Built in the early 1900s, the Odd Fellows Home of Elkins opened its doors in 1910. The Independent Order of Odd Fellows, a fraternal organization dedicated to community well being, owned and operated the property which included 16 acres of land with a gazebo, pond, and three car garage. Allen white, Grandmaster with West Virginia’s Odd Fellows, knows just how important the building on 225 Georgetown Road was to the state.

Two accidents tie up major arteries on Saturday
Emergency crews responded to two major accidents Saturday that were unrelated to the Trump rally at the Farm Show Grounds. Cranberry Township, Adams Township and Zelienople volunteer fire companies, plus Cranberry EMS and the UPMC Passavant Cranberry Advanced Life Support Squad, were called out at 7:50 a.m. to the southbound lane of Interstate 79 at the 79.2 mile marker for a rollover crash with entrapment, according to scanner reports.
