No 'options off the table' on special session as governor prepares for town halls
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Video above: Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham will host a series of public safety town halls in Las Cruces, Albuquerque and Espanola. The first public safety town hall will be held at the Las Cruces Convention Center on Thursday, July 25, at 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. With regard to another special session, a spokesperson for the Governor's office told KOAT "While the governor isn't taking any options off the table, right now she is focused on gathering input from New Mexicans about their public safety concerns.' State police arrest former lieutenant for fraud charge
SILVER CITY, N.M. — A former police lieutenant turned himself in to be arrested by the New Mexico State Police. David Neil was arrested after an investigation into timecard and overtime fraud. He was taken into custody on Tuesday, July 23. Neil worked for NMSP for more than 24 years.
