The New Orleans Police Department arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with a double shooting on Bourbon St. Sunday night.

Cops booked Shaquille Henderson on two counts of attempted second degree murder, and various gun charges in the shooting of two men.

WWL-TV reports Henderson was working as a bouncer at a local bar. When the bar closed, Henderson reportedly forced the two men out into the 600 block of Bourbon, and then a fight ensued.

"The suspect reportedly shot both victims during the dispute," said police. "Responding Eighth District officers quickly took the suspect into custody."

New Orleans EMS took the two victims to University Medical Center.

The case remains under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to call NOPD Eighth District detectives at (504) 658-6080, or Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111 or toll free at (877) 903-7867 (STOP).

Callers to Crimestoppers do not have to leave their names and may be eligible for a cash reward.
