METAIRIE, La. ( WGNO ) — The New Orleans Saints released the team’s 2024 training camp schedule Monday afternoon, ahead of the team’s trip to Irvine, California.

The Black and Gold will hold an introductory press conference on Tuesday, July 23rd, and begin their first training camp practice on the 24th.

New Orleans’s first fully-padded practice begins on Monday, July 29th, and will stay suited up until Saturday, August 3rd, before interchanging between shoulder pad-only sessions.

The Saints will stay in Irvine for majority of training camp, including the weeks of its first two preseason games: Saturday, August 10th at the Arizona Cardinals and Sunday, August 18th at the San Francisco 49ers.

The Saints and 49ers will hold two joint-practice sessions in Irvine on August 15th and 16th, before facing each other in the preseason matchup.

Despite the 2,000-mile trip west, New Orleans will have two open practices on the back end of training camp: Tuesday, August 20th at Yulman Stadium and Friday, August 23rd at the Superdome.

The team did not release practice times or fan information regarding the opening practices but indicated it will do so at a later date.
