“Improving the employment outlook for residents is the first step in helping people find and keep jobs, ultimately helping families thrive and bridging the wealth gap,” said HUD Acting Secretary Adrianne Todman.

HUD officials say the Jobs Plus program helps families get and keep jobs through work readiness connecting public housing residents with employment, education and financial empowerment services.
