There is a 60 percent chance for rain Saturday, and rain chances remaining likely for a few days.

"We'll keep that wet pattern heading into next week," said WWL-TV meteorologist Alexa Trischler.

"Today, we'll have a chance for some numerous showers and storms, but there will be some dry breaks in between," she said.

"It will be humid today, and fortunately, not that hot," she continued, "with our high temperatures getting to the upper 80s."
