NEW ORLEANS ( WGNO ) — Le Petit Bleu, the sister restaurant to Commander’s Palace, is cooking up some Olympics-inspired dishes for the Paris 2024 games.

“If you are missing the Olympics, come and get a touch of Paris here. We are hoping the environment feels like that,” said Co-Owner of Le Petit Bleu and Commander’s Palace Ti Martin.

Le Petit Bleu has a variety of both sweet and savory crepes, which will make you feel like you are in France without having to travel there.

This week Le Peiti Bleu is launching a new crepe in honor of the Olympics called, “Red, White & Bonjour Y’all.”

“This crepe has sweetened creole cream cheese, we make it here, and blueberries. It is just a blast,” said Martin.

In addition to crepes, the restaurant is also serving up a Cassoulet dish.

“It is a classic French dish, which I just love. Mostly white beans of course, but we creolize it a bit. It is mostly bean forward, but it has ham and tasso in it,” said Martin.

Le Petit Bleu is also serving up quiches like its Quiche Lorraine.

“This is a classic quiche, but the way we are doing it, it will melt in your mouth. It is a meal with lightly tossed greens,” she said.

“When we first started working here, we would all say ‘bonjour y’all’ instead of welcome. So, before we knew, it everyone here was saying ‘bonjour y’all,’ which I think is just adorable,” she said.

Le Petit Bleu is located next to Commander’s Palace at 1427 Washington Ave.
