Zach Bryan Fan Rushes Stage In New Orleans: “I Got No F**king Idea Who That Was”

He wanted his 15 minutes of fame. Last night, Zach Bryan continued on his electric Quittin' Time Tour, taking the stage in the Big Easy. The New Orleans crowd brought the wild spirit of the Mardi Gras state to the arena, as one fan decided he wanted to have a shining moment on stage with Bryan. During the set, one fan impressively rushed the stage, making it all the way to Bryan and his band. The young man runs up to Bryan, who turns and looks beyond confused. With his arms in the air, the kid sticks out his hand to shake ZB's. Bryan, who is eerie about the situation, takes a few steps back, removes his in-ears, and then shakes the fan's hand. Right after they shake hands, ZB's band is right behind the fan, ushering him off the stage. Where was security in all of this? The kid was clearly on a mission and did not look like he belonged on stage, given his haste to make it to Bryan. Before his few moments of fame were up, the fan held up two finger guns to the crowd, and the arena began cheering...but they weren't even sure what for. After collecting his thoughts, Bryan approached the microphone and addressed his crowd. "I got no f**king idea who that was...don't sneak on this stage, man..." I am sure that his fan was promptly escorted to the venue door and asked to leave for the evening. While I must admit it's impressive he was able to bypass all the security surrounding the foot of the stage, what did he think was going to happen? Zach Bryan was going to become instant friends with him and invite him back to the bus? Hell no, this kid would have had better luck sulking around a door near the back at the end of the show than disrupting the middle of his set. Bryan was way cooler than most would have been, shaking his than and not freaking out that someone was rushing the stage trying to harm him. Maybe opt for a different way to meet Zach Bryan next time. One can only hope this was near the end of his set, or he just paid a lot of money for two seconds on stage and a whole lot of missed songs and memories. Zach Bryan is a class act for not letting this rattle him, making a joke out of it, and carrying on.
