One of Florida ’s biggest smoothie mainstays, Tropical Smoothie Cafe is continuing to grow in Central Florida with a new location set to open in New Port Richey . The chain, which has more than 1,400 locations nationwide, is opening a new smoothie shop at 8869 Little Road.

“We’re looking to open probably around the end of the year,” franchisee Dhairya Chaudhari told What Now on Wednesday. “We’re expanding generally in the New Port Richey/Spring Hill area.”

As a multi-unit owner and a franchisee since 2017, Chaudhari speaks highly of the brand’s selection of healthy offerings and their versatility.

“It’s a great concept, where everything is freshly made every day and you can customize everything just the way you want it,” Chaudhari said.

The Tropical Smoothie Cafe menu features a long list of healthy smoothies, and some more indulgent ones (e.g. Peanut Butter Cup). Guests can load up on nutrients with Super Veggie smoothies like the Detox Island Green ( spinach, kale, mango, pineapple, banana & fresh ginger ) and others, or go somewhere in between with Fruit Blends like the Blimey Limey, with strawberries, pineapple, orange juice, and lime.

The menu also features flatbreads, wraps, sandwiches, and salads, which come with sides like chips, fruit, and more.
