Union County Mosquito Control to Spray New Providence and Surrounding Areas

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — Union County Mosquito Control has announced it will conduct adult mosquito spraying in New Providence and surrounding areas on Saturday morning, July 27, 2024. The spraying is scheduled to occur between 3:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., weather permitting.
The areas in New Providence to be treated include:
In addition to New Providence, the spraying will cover other local areas as follows:
Berkeley Heights: Grant Street Area, River Road, Snyder Avenue, Emerson Lane Area, Little Flower Church, Industrial Avenue, Garfield Street, Hamilton Avenue, Mount Carmel Area, Washington Street, Kuntz Avenue, Camptown Drive, Summit Avenue, Berkeley Heights Water Treatment, Shadow Lane, River Bend Road, Chaucer Drive, Eaton Court, Park Avenue, Berkeley Heights Department of Public Works, Nancy Place, Rogers Avenue, Ralph Place, Beechwood Lane, Elm Place, Hilltop Avenue, Archer Lane, Apple Tree Road, Brookside Lane, Janet Lane.
Plainfield: Columbia Avenue, St. Mark's Place, St. Nicholas Boulevard, Netherwood Avenue, Leland Avenue, East 3rd Street, Cushing Road, Knollwood Court.
Summit: Kent Place (Summit Recycling Center), Risk Avenue, Beech Spring Drive.
Spraying will also take place at the County Park locations, including Passaic River, Meisel Park, and Snyder Park, as well as Town Park locations such as Milt Campbell Park in Plainfield and Oak Wood Park in New Providence.
