Boogie Down the Bayou – A fundraiser to support veterans, fallen first responders
DENHAM SPRINGS – On Sunday, July 21st, the Louisiana VFW District 8 is hosting a heartfelt fundraiser for the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting America’s heroes. The event, aptly named “Boogie Down the Bayou,” will take place from 11 AM to 7 PM.

Icelandic goalkeeper added to LSU Soccer 2024 roster
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The LSU Soccer team added a new goalkeeper to the 2024 roster. Head Coach Sian Hudson announced Auður Scheving will be added to the roster for the 2024 season. Scheving is from Iceland, where she played for Stjarnan FC and the Icelandic National Team.
