After filing for bankruptcy, a small Arby's franchisee is selling some locations and closing others. The 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris are fast approaching, with the opening ceremony set for July 26 and the Olympic flame not extenguished until Aug. 11. A growing contingent of athletes with LSU and Louisiana ties have qualfied or been selected to compete in Paris, with more likely on the way. As of July 1 there were 19 athletes plus one athlete from Lafayette who were in the Games, with 13 more LSU athletes expected to qualify. That would far eclipse the 22 LSU athletes who made it to the Tokyo Olympics three years ago.

Duhon is a first-generation sugarcane farmer and a fourth-generation cattle producer, but she said that wasn’t always the case.
