Estela told his brother that people were following him, according to police. He also posted on social media saying “BYE” to his family, police said.

Estela’s family last saw him on a bicycle leaving an address on Pleasant Street in New Rochelle on Friday, police said.

A day later, the 20-year-old was spotted in the area of Pier 84 near 12th Avenue and West 46th Street in Manhattan. Estela was last seen running northbound after taking off his shirt and backpack, police said.

Estela is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 136 pounds. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts, black sneakers, gray baseball hat and was carrying a black backpack, according to police.
