Great horned owl rescued from soccer net, treated, released back to the wild
GREENVILLE, NY (WRGB) — A great horned owl that got trapped in a soccer net was rescued, cared for, and has now neem returned to the wild. According to the DEC, on June 26, environmental conservation officer Palmateer responded to a complaint about a great horned owl stuck in a soccer net at the Ararat Youth and Conference Center in the town of Greenville.

SP: Dutchess County woman attacked nursing home resident
According to New York State Police, an investigation found Thompson physically attacked a disabled resident of the Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation while she was employed there. She was arraigned at the town of Somers Court and was released on her own recognizance. She's set to reappear in court on July 22.
