Butler County couple could face animal cruelty charges
WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WXIX) - The West Chester Police Department is investigating a couple for animal cruelty after two dogs were removed from the property on Sunday. Neighbors are concerned about four children who live in the home after they removed the dogs from the house on Wakeshire Drive.
PFLUM FAMILY URGES WOULD-BE SEARCHERS TO STAY OFF JOHNSON PROPERTY
(Connersville, IN)--The family of Denise Pflum released a statement over the weekend after a Fayette County judge last week stopped their efforts to force the search of the property of Erika Johnson for Denise’s remains. The message indicates the Pflums will try another approach and urges the community to be patient until that happens. They are discouraging the efforts of some to organize a protest, saying that it will not sway the court’s position. They’re also asking that people not venture onto the Johnson property themselves in an effort to search. They say they have a team of search professionals waiting in the wings if and when a search is ever permitted.
Closure Planned on State Road 262 Near Rising Sun
The project is scheduled to begin July 15. (Ohio County, Ind.) – A portion of State Road 262 is scheduled to close on or after Monday, July 15. A bridge rehabilitation project will take place approximately 2.5 miles west of State Road 56 near Rising Sun and is expected to be in effect through mid-November.
