The rest of New York City saw significant totals from the weekend storm. Parts of Queens experienced more than 2.4 inches of precipitation as rain came down in torrents as it approached midnight, the National Weather Service. Brooklyn’s highest rain total was recorded in Prospect Park at 2.16 inches. Manhattan’s Central Park climate station observed 2.14 inches of rainfall, and the Bronx saw 2.1 inches, the rainfall reports showed.</div></body>
