Wimberley figures in Paul Simon documentary set to air

A documentary about Paul Simon called “In Restless Dreams,” premiers this Wednesday, March 13, in New York city at the East End Festival. On Thursday, Simon will appear on the Stephen Colbert show.

The first half of the actual three hour and twenty minute docuseries directed by Oscar winner Alex Gibney will be available on the streaming platform MGM+ on March 17th. The second half will stream on March 24th. Both are scheduled to run at 9 p.m. ET/PT. There are brief scenes of Wimberley and of his interview with Todd Crusham and co-host Benjamin Hotchkiss in the fishbowl studio of KWVH.

Crusham and Hotchkiss of the “Toddy and the Pooch Unleashed” show interviewed Simon in June 2022 while fans watched from outside.
