NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A man was put in a chokehold, beaten and robbed of his clothes near the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Midtown, police said Tuesday as they released images of the suspects.

The 23-year-old victim was standing in front of 355 West 39th St., about a block south of the bus terminal, around 2:20 a.m. on Monday, March 4, when three men attacked him, according to cops.

The trio put him in a chokehold and struck him multiple times across the body before stealing his jacket, hat and sunglasses, police said.

The attackers fled on foot before EMS arrived and transported the victim to Lenox Health Greenwich Village, where he was listed in stable condition.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
