Video: Altercation Between NYC Officials And Illegal Vendors

There's controversy in New York after video shows a New York City Parks officials wrestling with an illegal food vendor who had been selling fruit.

A 14-year-old girl is one of two people who is being physically restrained during the incident this past weekend in Battery Park. The Parks Department said the girl's mother was illegally selling fruit.

"That area has received a substantial number of 311 complaints because of illegal vendoring. It's impacting the quality of life. We hear it all the time. People are calling us and saying it gives the appearance that our city is having a level of disorder and anything, everything goes," Mayor Eric Adams said.

Adams said this is why the federal government needs to allow these migrants to work legally.
