Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann were dressed to the nines while posing on the red carpet during what appeared to be a fabulous date night on Tuesday.
The celebrity couple looked equal parts chic and sophisticated while attending the inaugural Gotham TV Awards at Cipriani on June 4. Hargitay, 60, and Hermann, 56, were photographed at the New York City event with their arms around each other, posing before a green backdrop.
For the first-ever awards ceremony, the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit actress stepped out in a metallic silver maxi dress from Tom Ford and beige pumps. She accessorized the look with a pair of silver earrings, a metallic clutch and some silver rings. To complete the ensemble, she styled her shoulder-length hair in voluminous beach waves, adding a peachy lipstick and ultra-glam smokey eye.
Meanwhile, Hermann sported an all-black outfit made up of a patterned suit jacket, which he layered on top of a black button-up and paired with matching slacks and a pair of loafers.
The event was held to recognize some of the best small screen series across seven categories : Breakthrough Comedy Series, Breakthrough Drama Series, Breakthrough Limited Series, Breakthrough Nonfiction Series, Outstanding Performance in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Performance in a Drama Series, and Outstanding Performance in a Limited Series.
During the ceremony, Hargitay was awarded for what Gotham's Executive Director Jeffrey Sharp called "one of the most iconic performances in the history of TV" for her role as Law & Order: SVU 's Olivia Benson, which she's held for 25 years. As for the rest of the evening’s big winners, the top prizes went to Netflix ’s Baby Reindeer , Amazon Prime’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith , and Paramount+’s Colin from Accounts .
