All eyes have been on Justin Timberlake since his arrest in New York last week.

The singer had his eyes on another famous man—Martin Scorcese—during his recent performance at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Tuesday, June 26. The "Mirror" singer took some time out of his show to give a shout-out to the Killers of the Flower Moon filmmaker when he spotted the Hollywood film director in the crowd.

During his performance for his The Forget Tomorrow World Tour , Justin paused his show to acknowledge that the Goodfellas director was in attendance. “So many family and friends, but I see some new faces, too. I hope this doesn’t embarrass him too much, but I’m sorry, man, I gotta do this,” Justin said in a video captured by a concertgoers.

“The GOAT came to see me, the one and only Martin Scorsese.”

Martin stood up and waved back at Justin, adjusting his glasses and covering his face as the Grammy winner went on to perform a cover of Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York.” The NSYNC alum's wife, Jessica Biel, was also in the crowd supporting her husband. Her attendance at the show comes one week after Justin was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated in the Hamptons.

He returned to his tour last Friday for his first performance since the arrest, and he addressed his fans, thanking them for their support after a “tough week." “We’ve been together through ups and downs, lefts and rights. It’s been a tough week, but you’re here and I’m here, and nothing can change this moment right now,” he said. “I know sometimes I’m hard to love but you keep on loving me and I love you right back. Thank you so much.”

The hitmaker's arrest became the laughingstock of social media for the day. The situation inspired memes of people making fun of him and the arresting police officer's alleged conversation where Justin said that the incident was "going to ruin the tour." At the time of the arrest, Justin alleged that he had "one martini" before getting behind the wheel, and a bartender who works at the hotel he was partying at before he was stopped by police later corroborated his claim.
