Mayor Eric Adams and the City Council have struck a deal on a $112.4 billion budget plan.

Adams said they worked together to fill a $7.1 billion budget gap and find the money needed to address the migrant crisis. He said it also delivers on needed services like housing, childcare and health care.

"I am proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Speaker Adams and our Council partners to make key investments in New Yorkers and the programs that they rely on every day, with billions of dollars for early childhood education, cultural organizations, libraries, parks, public safety, housing, health care, transit, and more," Mayor Adams said.
