It’s a formula that has work well for students and this year, a whopping 110,000 students are taking part.

This year, the program has kicked off in better financial health than in recent years. For the first time since 2021, the Department of Education will cover its $80 million portion of the tab.

A typical day features a mix of academic support, social emotional learning, and enrichment activities, including field trips, arts activities, and outdoor recreation.
