NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — The NYPD on Thursday released photos of a man accused of carjacking a woman's Mercedes on a Washington Heights street last week.

It happened just after 4:30 p.m. on June 24, when a 20-year-old woman was seated inside of a white 2017 Mercedes Benz E300 in front of 4580 Broadway, authorities said.

According to police, the suspect entered the driver seat of the vehicle and stated "I’m taking the car, get out. I don’t want to show you my gun" while reaching into a bag.

The victim then exited the vehicle and the suspect fled in the car. He was last seen traveling southbound on Broadway.
