Knicks Stars Drop Blunt Admission About Mikal Bridges Trade

Not too many folks out there saw the New York Knicks' landscape-shifting trade for Mikal Bridges coming—especially considering how the deal involved their fierce cross-town rivals, the Brooklyn Nets.

As it turns out, even Knicks stars Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart were shocked when they realized that their former Villanova teammate was actually joining them.

In a recent episode of the Roommates Show , Brunson and Hart admitted to attempting to recruit Bridges in the past. They revealed, however, that never in their wildest dreams did they think that this was actually going to happen:

Bridges' arrival now has no less than four ex-Wildcats stars on the Knicks roster along with Brunson, Hart, and Donte DiVincenzo.

With Bridges now in the mix, the Knicks are going to be a real problem in the East this coming season. They went all the way to the Eastern Conference Semifinals last term, and you can be sure that this new-look New York side will be looking to take it a step further in 2024-25.
