Travelers returning from the holiday weekend dealt with service disruptions and delays on the rails, roads and in the skies. On Saturday, Amtrak said trains were suspended between Boston and New York City because of a lightning strike that caused a
power outage on all tracks . Service had been fully restored Sunday. Officials, however, said high temperatures may require trains to operate at lower speeds, resulting in delays of up to an hour between noon and 7:30 p.m. News 12’s Nikita Ramos has more from Westchester County Airport on the rush to return to the Hudson Valley.
