Mikal Bridges followed Jalen Brunson to the Knicks.

Now, will he also take less money like Brunson to remain on Broadway?

A report on Monday suggested that possibility — noting that Bridges will sign an extension leaving money on the table.

As soon as Oct. 1, the 6-foot-6 wing can sign an extension with the Knicks, or wait to ink a four-year deal after the season for as much as $156 million.

This fall, he can extend for two years at a total of $72.5 million.

NBA reporter Marc Stein, citing league sources, reported that Bridges is likely to follow Brunson and agree to a team-friendly deal.

Bridges has two years left on his current contract worth just over $48 million.

Bridges was recently acquired by the Knicks in a stunning deal with the Nets for a bushel of draft picks to join his former Villanova teammates Brunson, Josh Hart and Donte DiVincenzo with the Knicks.

On Friday, Brunson signed a four-year extension worth $156.6 million , $113 million less than he could have landed had he waited another year.

The deal frees up the Knicks to further improve their roster in the coming seasons.

Bridges seems thrilled to be a Knick.

“It’s surreal. Coming here, it makes me feel like a young kid again, with all the memories. When I think about basketball when I was young, and the old school, it was always the Knicks,” the 27-year-old wing said last week at his introductory press conference.

“That’s what you think about. MSG. The New York song. All that stuff.”
