    Gunman sought in triple shooting in Downtown Brooklyn

    NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police are searching for a gunman in a triple shooting that occurred early Monday morning in Downtown Brooklyn.

    Authorities said he suspect discharged a firearm in front of 1 Flatbush Avenue at around midnight wounding three people.

    According to officials, a 41-year-old woman sustained a graze wound to her neck and back, a 44-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to the right hand and a 33-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to the right thigh.

    EMS transported both men to New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in stable condition.

    The woman refused medical attention on the scene.

    The gunman fled on foot to southbound on Flatbush Avenue to parts unknown.

    He was last seen wearing a grey and black shirt, grey pants, and carrying a green bookbag.
