NEW YORK (PIX11) – Grammy award-winning rock band Cage the Elephant will be playing a series of shows in the tri-state area, Live Nation announced.

The band will embark on a 45-date North American tour to promote their sixth studio album, “Neon Pill.” The tour will make stops in major US cities such as Seattle, Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City.

“Neon Pill is the first record where we were consistently uninfluenced, and I mean that in a positive way,” said Frontman Matthew Matthew Schultz on their latest musical effort. “Everything is undoubtedly expressed through having settled into finding our own voice. We’ve always drawn inspiration from artists we love, and at times, we’ve even emulated some of them to a certain degree.”

Fans wanting to see the band will get multiple chances. Tri-state cities include New York City, Bridgeport, Conn., and Lewiston, N.Y.
