Police: Two men dead, one injured following two shootings in Clinton Hill

Two men are dead and another is injured following two shootings in Clinton Hill Sunday evening. Authorities have not confirmed if the shootings, which occurred within a 15-minute timeframe and close proximity, are connected. The most recent shooting happened outside a migrant shelter at 29 Ryerson St. Police say they were called to the building at 10:59 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man in his 40s who was shot in the head. He did not survive. They say they found another man at the scene who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his body. He is currently recovering in a nearby hospital. Prior to responding to the shelter, police say they were dispatched to a different shooting near Flushing Avenue and Steuben Street. Officers say they found a man in his 30s who was shot in the chest. He was later pronounced dead. Investigators appeared to be focusing their efforts within Steuben Park. Authorities say they have not made any arrests in connection with either shooting. "
