Applications for outdoor dining in NYC to close this summer: What to know

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Restaurant owners in New York City are running out of time to apply for an outdoor dining permit .

The application period closes on Aug. 3.

A flat fee of $1,500 will be charged for either a roadway or sidewalk cafe. If you want to set up both, it will cost $2,100.

The new rules are set to kick in in the fall. You can apply here .
