Hundreds of jobs available with NYC Department of Transportation

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Hundreds of jobs are currently available with the New York City Department of Transportation — including some high-paying positions.

The jobs are listed online on JobsNYC , the official careers website for the City of New York. There are currently 270 open positions with the New York City DOT. Nearly all of them are full-time jobs.

The job listings include a range of salaries, with some paying over $100,000.

Some of the jobs require different levels of experience. Most of the positions are described as “experienced” roles, but there are some entry-level and student positions available.

More than a third of the jobs fall under the category of engineering, architecture and planning. Other job categories include administration, building operations, finance and accounting, legal affairs, technology and communications.

The job listings provide descriptions of the position, minimum qualifications and other requirements they may have.
