Oyster Party

Oyster Party lives up to its name. The bivalve specialists make weekly appearances at Smorgasburg in Prospect Park and Williamsburg, and host frequent pop-ups in Upstate NY. (They also cater, in case you want to be the most popular party host there ever was.) You can expect impeccably fresh oysters—like Wellfleets from Massachusetts, and Eel Lakes from Nova Scotia—plus lobster rolls that really do taste like the ocean, even when you eat them standing up in the middle of a crowded food festival. Don’t do that though—if you catch them on a Sunday at Smorgasburg in Prospect Park, take a roll down to the boathouse and enjoy it there. The griddled bun, stuffed with lightly dressed, super-fresh lobster and dusted with Old Bay deserves your full, seated attention.
