A fire broke out at Terminal 8 of New York’s JFK Airport on Wednesday, July 24, forcing approximately 100 people to be evacuated, according to ABC7.

Nine people suffered minor smoke inhalation and more than 250 flights were delayed, ABC7 said.

Footage showed a heavy smoke cloud inside the terminal as passengers were being evacuated.
