First Alert Forecast: 7/27/24 Evening Weather in New York 03:10

    Saturday night forecast in NYC

Saturday's weather was just as good as it gets for late July in New York City. The sunshine mixed with low humidity levels made it feel amazing, and although a few clouds developed late in the day, those will be clearing out as we head into the overnight hours.

Low temperatures will remain comfortable, ranging from the 60s throughout the suburbs to 70 in the city.

    Sunday forecast in NYC

For Sunday, mostly sunny skies early will give way to increasing cloudiness by the afternoon and evening hours. Those clouds should not yield any precipitation, for the most part, except for eastern Long Island and perhaps the Jersey Shore, largely holding off until the nighttime hours, though.

Despite the extra clouds, highs are still anticipated to reach the mid and upper 80s across the region, with a low levels of humidity.

    Looking ahead

We'll be dealing with more scattered storms Monday as a low meanders offshore. Humidity will climb slightly as well, while temps will be in the mid 80s.

The weather becomes unsettled again in the middle of the week as humidity and thunderstorms return.

For now, enjoy this beautiful weekend!
