This nosh requires more “bread” than most.

As if the Big Apple didn’t have enough ritzy repastes of late, creative Japanese cocktail bar Sip & Guzzle is getting in on this gastronomic gold rush by selling a $150 beef sandwich that’s served on a golden platter.

Dubbed the “Royale with Cheese,” the souped-up sammie was recently described by “Chew York City” foodfluencer Ella Kahan as the “fanciest cheeseburger you’re ever going to eat.”

Sip & Guzzle specializes in offbeat food and drink hybrids, but its culinary crown jewel is arguably the aforementioned nosh, which was created by chef Mike Bagale, who used to helm Chicago’s three-Michelin star restaurant Alinea.

The high-priced hero features A5 Miyazaki wagyu tenderloin — the highest-graded beef in the world known for its snowflake-like veins of marbling in each cut.

It is then topped with aged white cheddar, evoking a highfalutin Philly cheesesteak.

Bagale rounds out the decadent grinder by seasoning it with minced onions, a special wasabi-based barbecue sauce, smoked soy sauce, brown sugar, tomato and rice vinegar, and shio koji (a Japanese condiment with a special fungus, rice, water and salt).

Finally, the Royale is bookended by shokupan milk bread flown fresh from the Ginza Nishikawa bakery in LA and served in a golden bento-like box.

Voilà — diners are ready to literally eat the “rich.”

By the way, you can wash it down with a white truffle milkshake or black truffle cherry soda float — for $50.

The Royale might seem like it skews more style than substance, but diners have been quick to heap praise on this gastronomic golden calf.

Influencer Kahan billed the luxe dish as “cheesy, dreamy, meaty wagyu goodness.”

Meanwhile, fellow foodie Kaitlyn Lavery, who calculated that the lavish sandwich cost around $30 a bite, said : “Was it the best steak sandwich I’ve ever had? Probably. Would I ever buy it again? Probably not.”

Not a fan of beef? Not to fear.

In addition to the Royale, Sip & Guzzle offers an array of other opulent eats, including airy chips made of puffed chicken skin adorned with tea-smoked Golden Osetra caviar . Total price: $165.

Interestingly, the restaurant’s boffo burger is not the most expensive sandwich in New York City.

That honor goes to the “Quintessential Grilled Cheese” at Serendipity 3, which, at about $215, also happens to be the priciest hero on the planet, according to Guinness World Records.
